I started my journey in the wine industry in 2010 working on viticulture research with Dr. Krista Shellie of the USDA-ARS. Soon thereafter I moved up to Washington state to further my education and experience.

I began working for Winemakers LLC first as viticulturist for all statewide properties. Then I was promoted the vineyard manager for the companies Horse Heaven Hills AVA properties which included Canoe Ridge, Alder Ridge, and Alder Ridge North. After spending some time in Washington I decided to return home to Idaho.

I currently work in a viticulturist/vineyard manager component for the company properties in Idaho which include Sawtooth and Skyline Vineyards. I have experience growing over 30 different varietals and numerous clones within varietals. I currently serve as a commissioner on the Idaho Wine Commission. I am also consulting with local growers to improve their farming efficiencies, production, and winegrape quality.
